    • I, Thomas Marsh, of Hingham, being sick, do make this, my last will.

      I give all my estate, land and cattle whatsoever, unto Sarah my wife, and unto my four children Thomas, Sarah, Ephraim and Mary. My intent is that my wife, whom I ordain executrix of this my last will, shall carefully educate and bring up my children with what estate I leave her.

      And my will is, that whenever my youngest daughter Mary, shall attain to the age of 14, and my sonne Thomas 21 years, then, whatever remains of the estate be divided among them; the one half of that estate that is left to Sarah, my wife, the other half to my four children, as followeth: My eldest sonne Thomas, two shares, and my other three children single shares. And I appoint as overseer of this my will, my friend Mathew Hawkes, John Fearing, Nathaniel Beal and Sarah my wife."
