Walter
Pennell     was born on 23 Aug 1625 in Newton Ferrers, Devonshire,
England. He emigrated from there in 1643,
arriving aboard
the "Margery" with his father. He took the oath of freeman in 1653. He received a land grant in
Biddeford, York County, Province of Maine, Massachusetts on 12 Jul 1653
- "To have all ye neck of land
commonly called 'Stonie Strand,' being 60 poles bredth or there abouts be it
more or less, and so up into ye woods southwest until 150 acres be completed
with all ye profits thereto blonging to the same." He received a land grant
in 1657 - "7 akers
next to Richard Hitchcock." He died in 1682. Savage says
March 1683. The inventory of his estate was taken on 4 Nov 1682. Walter Pennell
and Mary Booth were married in 1647 in Saco, York County, Province
of Maine, Massachusetts.      Mary Booth       was born on 30 Sep 1627 in Saco, York County, Province
of Maine, Massachusetts.   
She died after 21 May 1683.
