He was married to Mary Trufant on 12 Nov 1750 in Georgetown, Sagahadoc Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts.

Mary Trufant was born on 29 Oct 1733 in Weymouth, Norfolk Co., Massachusetts. Joe Burgess lists birth place as Georgetown, Maine. She died about 1774. Children were:

iv. Joel Philbrook was born on 14 Aug 1759 in Islesboro, Waldo Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. He died on 15 Sep 1820 in Granville Township, Licking Co., Ohio. He married Mary Leadbetter in Jan 1775.
v. Jane Philbrook.

After 1774, Job Philbrook married as his 2nd wife Dolly Hinckley in Castine, Hancock Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. Within 2 years after, he married Hannah Coombs.
