Lydia Eldridge was born on 18 Sep 1764 in Chatham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. Joe Burgess, "Robert Eldred..." and "Burgess Genealogy..." all state birth date as 18 Sept. 1765. She died on 27 May 1853 in Matinicus, Lincoln Co., Maine. Children were:

i. Jonathan Burgess was born on 15 Oct 1785 in Chatham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. He appeared on the census in 1850 in Vinalhaven, Waldo Co., Maine age 65, where he was a light keeper. He died after 1850, his last appearance in the census. He was married to Jane Smith.
ii. Elizabeth Burgess was born on 16 Aug 1787 in Chatham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.  Joe Burgess and Long list as 16 Aug. 1786. She died on 27 Dec 1830 in Matinicus, Hancock Co., Maine.
iii. Elsey Burgess was born on 29 Apr 1789 in Chatham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. Long says 1788. She died in 1856.
iv. Lydia Burgess was born on 29 Sep 1790 in Provincetown, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. She died on 1 Jan 1819.
v. Sally Burgess was born on 9 Sep 1792 in Penobscot, Hancock Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. She died in 1846.
vi. Mary Polly Burgess was born on 28 Feb 1795 in Penobscot, Hancock Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. She died on 29 Jan 1863.
vii. Ezekiel Burgess Jr. was born on 3 Mar 1797 in Vinalhaven, Hancock Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. He died on 14 Jan 1841 in Matinicus, Hancock Co., Maine.

xiii. John Burgess  was born on 17 Nov 1813 in Vinalhaven, Hancock Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. Long says 1812. He died on 5 Dec 1845 or in 1854.
