I think you may have some confusion on the Gibson line you have posted.
You list John Roger Gibson, son of John Gibson and Joanna Crowfoot, as dying in Glastonbury CT 6 Feb 1855. I belive you may have him confused with his cousin, Roger Gibson, who was born 24 August 1768 in Glastonbury, died 6 Feb 1855 in Glastonbury, buried in John Tom Hill Cemetery. The headstone is a double stone, also listing his wife Abigail Bidwell, who died 10 May 1855.
Roger was my 3rd great grandfather. He was the son of Samuel Gibson and Mary Kimberly. Samuel was a brother to John Gibson, husband of Joanna.
John and Samuel were two of eight children of John and Marcy (Sage) Gibson.
John Gibson was the son of Deacon Samuel Gibson and Hannah Whitmore.
Deacon Samuel Gibson was the son of Roger Gipson (Gibson) and Martha Morris. Roger was born in Saybrook CT 1648, died at Middletown CT 6 Dec 1680. I have not yet found his parents.
As you may have noticed, the names John, Roger and Samuel are prominent in the family. In my line, there has been a John Gibson every generation, even to the present day. My brother's eldest son is named Samuel.
