He was a mariner.⁽⁵⁸⁸³⁾ He was married to Mary Lord before 1685.⁽⁵⁸⁸⁴⁾⁽⁵⁸⁸⁵⁾

293. Mary Lord⁽⁵⁸⁸⁶⁾⁽⁵⁸⁸⁷⁾ was born about 1670 in Kittery, York Co., Maine. She died on 26 Jul 1696 in Dover, Strafford Co., New Hampshire.⁽⁵⁸⁸⁸⁾ She was killed by the Indians. Children were:
