Lt. Josiah Littlefield was born about 1670 in Wells, York Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. He was baptized on 29 Oct 1701. He was shot and killed by Indians in Apr 1712 at Perkins Cove, York, York Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. He is buried near the Willow Tree Restaurant in Wells, York Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. He was married to Lydia Masters about 1687.

Lydia Masters was born about 1664. She was killed by Indians on 10 Aug 1707. Children were:

ii. John Littlefield was born on 7 Apr 1695.
iii. Nathaniel Littlefield was born on 3 Jun 1697 in Wells, York Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts. He was baptized on 29 May 1698 in Beverly, Essex Co., Massachusetts. He died in 1727. He was a sailor.
iv. Anna Littlefield.
v. Peter Littlefield was baptized on 28 Jun 1702. He was a joiner.
vi. Esther Littlefield was born on 1 Feb 1704 in Wells, York Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts and was baptized there on 30 Apr 1704.
vii. Lydia Littlefield was baptized on 19 May 1706 in Wells, York Co., Province of Maine, Massachusetts.
