Nicholas Snow was born on 25 Jan 1598/99 in England. He emigrated in Jul 1623 from England arriving on the "Anne". He took the oath of freeman in 1633. He signed a will on 14 Nov 1676 and died on 15 Nov 1676 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. His estate was probated on 5 Mar 1676/77 and inventoried on 22 Mar 1676/77.

NICHOLAS SNOW was one of those who arrived at Plymouth in the "Anne" in the year 1623, he received a share of land in Plymouth in 1624, and was married before 1627. He became a freeman and taxpayer of Plymouth in 1633, and for a number of years was a man of note in that place. In April 1644, he with six other prominent men of Plymouth began the Settlement of Eastham (Nauset) across the bay from Plymouth, and from the beginning became an important person in that place. He was a deputy and selectman for a number of years. In 1646, it was enacted by the Court that every Town within the Government 'shall have a clerk, or some one appointed to keep a register of the day and year of the marriage, birth, and burial of every man, woman and child within the Township.' Eastham immediately appointed NICHOLAS SNOW to this important office, and he held the place with honor for sixteen years, and his son MARK SNOW succeeded him."

He was married to Constance Hopkins between 1623 and 1627 in Plymouth Colony. Bob Anderson has their marriage date as 22 May 1622.

Constance Hopkins was born 11 May 1606 in Hursley, Hampshire, England. "Bacon and Allied Families" says she was born about 1605. She died in Oct 1677 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. Children were:

i. Mark Snow was born on 9 May 1628 in Plymouth Colony. He died in 1695 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. He was a town clerk. He married Anna Cook on 18 Jan 1654/55 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.
ii. Mary Snow was born about 1630 in Plymouth Colony. She died in 1704.
iii. Sarah Snow.
iv. Joseph Snow was born about 1634 in Plymouth Colony. He died on 3 Jan 1722/23.
v. Stephen Snow was born about 1636 in Plymouth Colony. He died on 17 Dec 1705. He married first, as her second husband, Susanna Deane on 13 Dec 1663 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.

vii. Elizabeth Snow was born about 1640 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. She died on 16 Jun 1678 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts. Se married Thomas Rogers on 13 Dec 1665 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.
viii. Jabez Snow was born about 1642 in Plymouth Colony. He died on 20 Dec 1690 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.
ix. Ruth Snow was born about 1644 in Plymouth Colony. She died on 17 Jan 1716/17 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.
x. Hannah Snow was born about 1646 in Eastham, Barnstable Co., Massachusetts.
