Zachariah Goodale  
was born on
15 May 1675 in Salem, Essex Co.,
Massachusetts. 
He bought a lot on the main highway in
Wells, York Co.,
Province of Maine, Massachusetts in 1699
and added the adjacent Drisco lot in 1716.
He was a member of the Grand Jury in 1703
and served on the jury in 1708.
He was baptized as an adult on 9 Oct 1720 in 1st Church, Wells, York Co.,
Province of Maine, Massachusetts.
He was a fence viewer in 1721 and, again, from 1723 to 1724.
He conveyed his property to his son John in 1747.
He died after Jul 1749 in Wells
when he deposed, about age 74, as to the fact that he worked for
the Cloyeses about 1701.
He was also known as Zachariah Goodell. He was married to Elizabeth Cousins on 22 May 1700 in Wells, York Co.,
Province of Maine, Massachusetts.   
Elizabeth Cousins   was baptized
with her husband on 9 Oct 1720 in 1st Church, Wells, York Co.,
Province of Maine, Massachusetts.
She was a servant in the Wheelwright household for 2 years.
She died before 1747.
