Henry Dearborn W. Noyes      was born on 25 Jul 1837 in Warren, Grafton Co., New
Hampshire.    He appeared on the census in 1850 in
Warren, Grafton Co., New
Hampshire
age 14. In 1860, he was a peddler in
Warren, Grafton Co., New
Hampshire. He enlisted in the Union Army as a
private on 6 September 1864 in New Hampshire.
He was in H Company, 1st Heavy Artillery Regiment. He
appeared in the 1870 census in Worcester,
Worcester Co., Massachusetts as a popcorn shop
employee. In 1880, he was in Lynn,
Essex Co., Massachusetts working in a can factory. He died on
10 Oct 1888 in South Berwick, York Co.,
Maine.   He was a confectioner. 
At various times throughout his life, he worked with his brothers Arthur and James in the
food services. He was married to Abbie B. Hutchings on 24 Apr 1875 in Lynn,
Essex Co., Massachusetts.   This was Henry's 2nd
marriage and Abbie's first.
They were married by Henry S. Kelsey, clergyman, of Woburn,
Middlesex Co., Massachusetts.
Abbie B. Hutchings  was born about 1842 in
Penobscot, Hancock
Co., Maine. She was age 33
when she married Henry. She appeared on the census in 1850 in Penobscot, Hancock
Co., Maine
age 8. She died on
2 Jul 1878 in Lynn, Essex Co.,
Massachusetts
from "brain disease"
and was buried
in Penobscot, Hancock
Co., Maine.
Children were:

Jessie Malcom Hutchins. Henry was married to his first
wife, Caroline H.
Lenfest (daughter of James Lenfest and Eunice Gilpatrick), before 1870. 
Caroline H. Lenfest was born about 1849 in Washington,
Lincoln Co., Maine. She died from consumption on 3 Feb 1871 in Worcester,
Worcester Co., Massachusetts and was buried in
Warren, Grafton Co., New
Hampshire.
Henry was married to his third
wife, Olive
Elizabeth Simpson (daughter of John Simpson and Mary Elizabeth Hubbard), on 9
Aug 1883.  
Olive Elizabeth Simpson was born on 3 September 1851 in South
Berwick, York Co., Maine. She
died after 1895.(date
of her pension application) She
applied for a pension in Maine. |
